I have always wondered where can I fly in a hot air balloon. In 2018 I got to write this one off my bucket list.
Every year at Blue Jacket Park in Winter Park, Florida there is a Hot Air Balloon Event. It is a great event for people who want to see what it is like to ride in a hot air balloon and photographers alike. If you would like to go for a ride without being tethered, there are about 10 different Hot Air Balloon companies there. They will be happy to talk to you about setting up a date and time for you and some companions to go for a ride.
Around dusk, the hot air balloons will light up the night sky. The event is usually $5 and I purchased my tickets in advance. You can take a tethered hot air balloon ride for $20 per person.
The event also has food trucks and activities for children.
